somehow i managed to get one post on my other pages, but i cannot get more there. i thought if i went to the page to which i want to make a post, that i simply hover over the my sites, scroll down to add post and it would post to the page i am currently on. but it doesn’t. it keeps adding the posts to my “home” page, if you will. how do i add to the page i want?
also, as long as i have your ear, why can’t i change the font size? as i’m typing something i sometimes want different font sizes, but i don’t seem to know how to do that. i would think that would be part of $99 annual fee. it probably is, but i just can’t figure it out.
thx so much.

Hello there!
Posts will not publish on static pages, they will only post on Category pages.
Here’s how this works:
http://catswithmustaches.org/category-pages/Let me know how this works out for you. As long as you have created Categories, and have assigned Posts to them, Category Pages will display those posts.
also, as long as i have your ear, why can’t i change the font size? as i’m typing something i sometimes want different font sizes, but i don’t seem to know how to do that. i would think that would be part of $99 annual fee. it probably is, but i just can’t figure it out.
If you want to change the general sizes of your fonts for headings and body text, you can do so in your Customizer:
https://becauseartmattersvermont.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?return=%2Fwp-admin%2F
Click Fonts. Then choose a Body Text Font. After you do that, you can choose a size.
If you want to change a single line of text within your content, you can do so in your content editor. To do this open up a post or page, and click the toggle button:
Once you click that, you’ll have the ability to choose the text type you’d like:
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

hi robyn, so sorry to take so long to get back to your response. i’ve been busy adding more posts rather than reading your response. i won’t bother with the font part yet, as i’m more concerned with the other topic. i have to be honest. i’m sure your answer is a great one, but i just don’t understand how to find my way around, i guess. i took a screenshot adn saved it as a jpg, but i see i can’t attach it. well, it’s the menus page. but i already made the pages there that don’t do what i want, so i doubt you mean to go to that screen.
i have made many categories already with each post, but i guess i thought that had something to do with functioning like tags. you can see how dumb i am about all this, but i’m plodding my way thru little by little. if you could give me a link to the page i’m looking for to set-up a way to post to more than my “home” page, that would be great ‘cos that’s really what i want to be able to do. thx so much.

Hey there!
I think you did the right thing by focusing on posting. The rest is icing on the cake. Good for you.
i have made many categories already with each post, but i guess i thought that had something to do with functioning like tags.
Categories are like file folders where each post is placed. They help you organize.
Tags are most specific.
Posts might only be in one file folder…but they have several tags.
Here is a document outlining the difference between tags and categories:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories-vs-tags/if you could give me a link to the page i’m looking for to set-up a way to post to more than my “home” page, that would be great ‘cos that’s really what i want to be able to do. thx so much.
You actually have all this info! :) Now, it’s just a question of putting the pieces together.
First, you add posts to Categories. More about Categories:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/Then, you add your Categories to your Menu, so they appear in your navigation. When your visitors click on these links in the menu, they will be taken to a Category Page that displays those assigned posts. More about adding Categories to your Menu:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/If you follow the instructions above, you could add a Category Menu Item to:
HOME
ABOUT
ARTISTS
GALLERIES
WHAT IS ANNE DOING?Say, you had a Category called WATER COLORS. You could add a tab in the menu.
Give that a try! Let me know how it works out :)
Best
