I can't set up email forwarding

Email Forwarding: Error Message: “An error occured while trying to process your request. Please try again or Contact Support if you continue to have trouble.”
I enter my first name in the “emails sent to” box, and my gmail account in will be forwarded to box. Both are correct and what I want. I get the error above.

Can you tell me what your unique email address will be (the one ending in dreadunicorngames.com)? I will set up a test email forwarding account that goes to the administrative email for your account.
After I do that, you will see a confirmation email in your email account, that you’ll need to click.

Take a look at your gmail account affiliated with your WordPress.com account. You should receive a confirmation email soon. If you don’t, please do check your spam and social folders!

Thank you so much. I clicked on it and got this:
“We were not able to verify this email forwarding, we have resent the confirmation email.”
Weird, eh?

Could you tell me if you’re sending from your @dreadunicorngames.com address to your gmail account? Due to the way gmail is set up, it won’t allow you to send to/from the same gmail login. Do you have an alternate account to/from which you can send your test email? If not, let me know and I can help further. Thank you!
