    Hi, fstat,

    I can’t log in to my website. It’s a WP.com-hosted and I have it for 10 years. Didn’t instal anything or make any changes. It opens but trying to sign in, and after confirming it’s me (it didn’t not ask me for my credentials as usual) and then goes to a completely new, to me, page, My Home. When I click on View Site, it shows the site for outsiders, not logged in. Can you help me? Thanks

    Plus it comes to a screen that asks to wait a moment to load my site but nothing happens. Starting to freak out, as I’m behind a deadline. Thanks

    Hi Wesley,

    When I click on View Site, it shows the site for outsiders, not logged in.

    So it’s not showing you the black admin bar at the top?

    That would indicate your browser is not able to detect that you’re already logged in. That detection is done via cookies, so if you’re using any anti-tracking add-ons in your browser, or are blocking third party cookies in your browser settings, that would explain what’s going on.

    Make sure your browser allows third-party cookies, and disable any extensions that might be blocking them. Then delete any existing WordPress.com cookies from your browser (you’ll find the option under privacy settings), log back in at https://wordpress.com/log-in, and view your site again.

    The My Home page is new, but it’s just a new landing page for the WordPress.com admin interface at My Sites. It used to default to the stats page, now it defaults to My Home. But you should still see the menu on the left that lets you make changes to different areas of your site.
