I can’t sign on a domain name

  I have not been able to type in a domain name. It will not let me have the curser in that field. I can type elsewhere on that screen. Does anyone have an idea what I’m doing wrong?

  A link to your blog here at wordpress.com would be useful. The one in your username is not a wp.com blog.

  I haven’t been able to type in a domain name to start the blog. I have an API key and could work on my profile but not start the blog. It will not let me get the cursor in the field to fill in for domain name. I imagine I am missing something simple but I have tried this off an on all weekend. Thanks for any help you can give.

  That entry box can be a problem. Here’s the workaround: if you know for sure the url you would like, simply enter it in your browser bar as http://theurl.wordpress.com making sure to tack on the wp dot com.

  If the url is available, you’ll be taken to the entry box with everything ready for you.
