I can’t start a free blog under wordpress’ sub-domain

  Hi, I’m currently trying to start a free blog with your sub-domain, however, I am having issues as whenever I’m trying to launch a blog, it asks me to select a domain name with no free options.

  It should only take a few more clicks if you have already created a free site with a subdomain ending in wordpress.com. Make sure that after clicking the “Launch site” button that you leave blank the field at the top that says “Enter a name or keyword”. Instead just click on “skip purchase” at the bottom right next to your new free address and then click on continue with free on the next page.

  I have the same problem. When I try to create a site, I only get paid domain options in step 5/6. I want a free .wordpress.com domain, but I can’t start my website without selecting a paid domain. There is no way to select a wordpress.com domain.
