I have two WordPress.com blogs – I can only log into one of them (this one) on my new Windows 10 Computer.
I can log out of TranquilLightPhoto, but when I try to log into WomanWithPen, it says I have the wrong password (I don’t ). I have tried re-setting the password for WomanWithPen, but when I get the email, it only gives me the opportunity to re-set the password for TranquilLightPhoto.
This happened on my old computer with Windows 7, and eventually I managed to get it to work by using a different browser. so far I have tried Firefox and Chrome on this computer, and it still doesn’t work. I will have to download and install IE to try as well.
This is very frustrating… It can’t be my computer, because it happened on my old one, my friends, and now this new one. What is going on, and can I fix it? I’m doing posts via Windows Live Writer, but can’t approve comments etc. that way.

You have two blogs, but each one is associated with a different WordPress.com account.
When you reset your password, you are not resetting a password for that blog. Rather, you’re resetting your password for a given WordPress.com account.
I recommend that you try entering any other email addresses you use, for WomanWithPen.wordpress.com, to try and find which email address (and WordPress.com account) is tied to that particular blog. You should enter each address at the Lost Password page: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

That isn’t my problem…I don’t think. I have a separate email and separate password for each blog. My problem is that I can’t even LOG OUT of tranquillightphoto, to log into womanwithpen. No matter what I do, I can only access tranquillightphoto. If I log out of tranquillightphoto, I can only log back into womanwith pen. I have the correct password for both things, because I can do it on other laptops (a separate laptop for each blog) but I cant do it on the same laptop, or several different browsers. Clearing the browser doesn’t help either, or opening a separate User account on my laptop. this happened on my old laptop, but by some miracle I manage to get to one account using Google browser and another account using the IE browser, but on this new laptop that doesn’t work. I’m very frustrated, I need to update my email address on womanwithpen, and can’t. Maybe I will have to just give up all my hard work and years of writing and forget it. This has been a problem for about 8-months now.

Can’t figure out how to edit the post above, I got confused in my writing and in sentence #5, said I can only log back into womanwith pen – this is wrong, I can only log back into tranquillightphoto. I CANNOT ACCESS WOMAN WITH A PEN….at all. (Sorry, but this is very confusing). I am getting soooooooo, frustrated with this. I’ve spent endless hours searching for an answer online, and can’t find a solution. Others seem to have the same problem and can’t find a solution either. The password reset form doesn’t help, it just confuses things even more and tries to reset the password for the wrong account. They shouldn’t be linked in any way, shape or form, they are both under separate email addresses with separate passwords.

They shouldn’t be linked in any way, shape or form, they are both under separate email addresses with separate passwords.
They aren’t linked. You just need to reset your password with the email that’s associated with the appropriate username.

Tried that several times. I cannot log out…period! I cannot re-set the password, I cannot log into WWP. It seems confused at the server. I have the correct password and email for each account, because I’m posting using Live Writer, and they both work fine, so I know I have the right emails etc. When I used the email for WomanWithPen I get a reset for TranquilLightPhoto, NOT what I asked for. I am sending an email to HELP at WordPress. This has been going on for six months, on three different computers, and its time for a resolution. I know other have the same problem, if I find a solution I may post it here. Thanks anyhow.

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
There can be only one email address for any username account regardless of how many blogs are registered under it.
