    I just Purchased a domain but cant transfer my WordPress site to the domain
    why?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi there,

    It is not possible to set a custom address for our free WordPress.com sites (those must use the provided “wordpress.com” URL) but if you upgrade to any of the plans mentioned here, they include the ability to use a custom address with your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    If you already have a domain with another provider you have the option to transfer the domain to us at no charge, and we will add a free year of registration so you do not have to pay to renew it for a year.
