i can't update my site
-
I’m not able to update my WordPress site.
When I log into WordPress.com, it says I don’t have a site up. -
Hello, Erin!
I’m really sorry to hear that things aren’t working quite right for you. Is the WordPress blog you’re referring to erinelkins.com? Because I can access that site just fine, and it looks great!
Can you try the following for me?
- Log completely out of WordPress
- Close and reopen your web browser
- Go to erinelkins.com/wp-admin and try to log in there.
Any luck?

Yes, its letting me sing in but it says under “my site” that I have no sites… I can’t do anything. its almost like someone has done something to the site. At this point can I just deleted the whole site that coming up under http://www.ErinElkins.com and start fresh???

Hey Erin,
At this point, I think that your problem is beyond the scope of what I can help you with as a volunteer, so I’m going to go ahead and tag this post with ‘modlook’ so a member of the WordPress Support Team will see it.
Hope you get it all worked out!

@erinae, I have confirmed that this site is not under your account. You won’t be able to edit the site if the system does not know you own it.
Did someone set up the site for you? It may be under their account. They could come in and ask us to give you access.
Or, if you have a different login under another email address, log out, then log in as that other user.
