I can't upload a pdf file

  I need to share post that I’ve written in pdf format. That is, it is a newsletter with photos and a very particular format. Therefore, it won’t work for me just to copy and paste my content to the post window. According to my research, there should be an “add media” button above the typing window, but I can’t find it. I also have researched that many people have the same problems. I’ve tried to clear my browser’s cache but that didn’t work. How can I share a pdf (or .doc) file on my site?
