i can't view my blog
-
Hi,
I don’t visit my own blog very often but when I did (on Tuesday (it’s Friday now my time)) I saw only, “Oops! Google Chrome could not find ojrak.com”
Within these 3 days I have tried every browser I can find, use every phone and computer I can lay my hands on — I still can’t visit my blog. I have a WordPress for Android app, and I can’t go from there either. I tried both address: ojrak.com and ojrakreloaded.wordpress.com both could not be found.
However, I can access my dashboard, I can also publish a post, I can visit any other WordPress.com blogs including my other blogs (so it’s just ojrak.com having this issue). I thought it’s because my domain upgrade has expired but I found that it only will expire on November 8, 2016. Also I don’t remember changing any settings or play with codes (I don’t have custom design upgrade that’s why heheheh) so I wonder, what did I do wrong?
Any response would be much appreciated.
Much love,
:)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @yellaojrak, can you update the domain to point it here? You’ll want to use these name servers, then wait about 6 hours for the new settings to take effect across the web:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comI’ve made the wordpress.com address primary so you can access your site in the meantime.
Also, can you take a look at https://wordpress.com/purchases and let us know what you’d like to do with that other domain?

Hello @supernovia thank you for your help.
I tried editing DNS but I got this message: “This record cannot be saved. Please check the highlighted fields below and try again.” Perhaps I didn’t do it right?
I also still can’t access my site through the WordPress.com address
address.About the other domain, I have to let it go as I never had time to play with it.

Anyway, I’m curious… A friend of mine posted a comment to this post http://ojrak.com/2015/12/22/5297/
It contained a link, which looked strange. It didn’t look like a link to a normal website to me. So I deleted the link, published and replied to his comment. Then he replied to my reply. His reply contained that link again. This time I just trashed his comment. I asked him about the link, and he said he never put any link to his comment to my blog. I believe he wouldn’t, he’s my friend, not a stranger.
I wanted to show you the link but I couldn’t see it in his comment in trash. Looks like it disappeared. There’s only 1 comment in trash, easy to find if you want to check.
Now, let my ignorance be shown: is it possible that this problem was caused by that link in my friend’s comment?

Can you ask your current host how to update the name servers? You appear to be hosted with http://www.uk2group.com/ .
Also, your next question relates to the site on their servers because you haven’t pointed it here yet. I can’t really provide much help there. But I can help with the site that’s at ojrakreloaded.wordpress.com right now.

Believe it or not, I don’t host my site to them, or anywhere else. The A and CNAME are handled by WordPress.com. It’s written on my domain management page, I read it when I tried to change things there following your instructions yesterday.
But anyway… Even if I do host my site elsewhere, I should still be able to see my site using the WordPress.com address… and I still can’t see my site through it.

That will only work if the domain is pointed here, actually. When I do a search here:
https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=ojrak.comI can see the domain points to these nameservers:
rgp1.stargate.com
rgp2.stargate.com
So any DNS settings would be controlled there. Are you able to update the nameservers to point to ours?
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com

First it was uk2group.com now it’s stargate.com… I said
I don’t host my site to them, or anywhere else.
There is nothing I can do. I cannot login to stargate, I cannot login to uk2group because I don’t have an account with either of them.
FACTS
1. The last time I made changes with DNS thingies was 2 years ago.
2. My site went just fine. Never had any problems with domain settings.
3. Ojrak.com expiration date is November 18, 2016.
4. On January 5, 2016 I wanted to see my site, ojrak.com — NOT FOUND
5. ojrakreloaded.wordpress.com was not found either. And is still not found.IF it really was my stupid or my fault, I should still be able to see my site using ojrakreloaded.wordpress.com. But why not?
Something is going on here.

@yellaojrak, you will need access to edit the domain’s settings. Did you buy the domain, and if so, who did you purchase it through? Can you get in touch with them?
It will not work here unless you log into the provider where you bought the domain, then point it to our name servers.
