I can't view my site

    Hi,

    I just renewed my domain name with GoDaddy, but I cannot yet open it/edit it/view it via WordPress, like I always have been able to.

    Your domain’s name servers are still pointing to your domain registrar’s name servers, NS15.DOMAINCONTROL.COM and NS16.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

    If you wish to point your domain to your WordPress.com blog, then you will have to purchase Domain Mapping upgrade and change your domain’s name servers to point to WordPress.com name servers.

    I never used to have to pay for the service.

    I bought the domain name from GoDaddy, and it was a web hosting service that I bought.

    Ive disconnected my site: mikaelawrites.com now in the hopes of being able to reconnect it, but I don’t seem to be able to do so.

    If anyone would be willing I’d be happy to give my login details to someone who would be able to fix this problem.

    Is there a contact number for WordPress to put me through to something from the tech team?

    There is no domain mapping for mikaelawrites.com – so you were probably never hosted here – and as noted above your name servers are pointing to Godaddy – try contacting Godaddy (or your host) since you are not hosted here

    Don’t give login details to ANYONE here – if you were hosted here the staff would be able to log into your site to help without you needing to provide any more info than the blog URL and or account name

    The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

    Hi mikaelarc,

    I can confirm the domain name was never associated with a WordPress.com account. As Auxclass has mentioned you will need to get help with your self-hosted WordPress site from GoDaddy or the WordPress.org community.
