I can't write my page keeps freezing

Since uploading a post yesterday WordPress keeps freezing as I write. It allows me to type the title but the minute I click into the paragraph box bellow it all freezes and I can’t do anything else.
If anyone knows how to resolve this please let me know! I cant upload anything now.

Sorry to hear that! Can you verify this issue is happening with simplyeverything.home.blog ? Also, which browser or app are you using, and if you swap to another app or browser, does the problem go away?

Yes that is the blog I am having the issue with. I only ever access my blog via my mac and so the browser is usually google. I don’t ever use another so maybe I will give that a try.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve used WordPress for almost 2 years but I am only now having trouble with it. I too have a Mac and I use Safari. I can go to another website and my Mac is not frozen but as soon as I go back to WordPress I get the Apple spinning color wheel of death. The whole thing freezes and all I can do is exit out and lose what I’ve typed.

Would you ( @bethxnysarah too) be willing to test to see if you’re getting the same issue in another browser? I haven’t been able to duplicate this in Safari or Chrome yet.
Also, are you using wordpress.com/post
or
wordpress.com/block-editor/post… or something else?

Can you please provide the details @supernovia asked above about which editor you’re using, as well as a link to your site?
Also please check if you get the same problem in another browser or just in Safari.
What operating system and browser, including version numbers, are you using?
Does clearing the browser cache make any difference at all?

I use internet explorer and sometimes safari ( when I use my phone) I also created a new blog account and it does the same.
Operating system phone: IOS 13.1.1
Web browser: safari 13.0.1
Laptop Operating system: windows 10(64-bit)
Web browser: Microsoft Internet explorer 12(project spartan) 18.17763 -

I do not see any errors on your site, it seems like it might be a local issue.
Can you please confirm that the editor freezes on both Safari on your mobile phone and on Internet Explorer while using your laptop?
Have you tried to check it on a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome?
Were you able to clear the cache on the current browser? Did that make any difference?

I downloaded chrome and now everything is back to normal because its a much faster browser, thank you for the help!

UPDATE: Today, I used Safari but I typed in WordPress login in google search. I then logged in and it worked just fine.
The other day, I used Safari and used
mywebsite.wordpress.com/wordpress-admin/index/php
This is the address that I have bookmarked and have been using for almost
2 years. It only started freezing up within the last month.
Today, I also tried using Chrome, Google searched and used WordPress login. I logged in and it worked fine there as well.
I am using Block Editor. I have emptied the Cache and it didn’t seem to make
any difference on the freezing.
I am using a MacBook Pro version 10.14.6 -
I used Safari and used
mywebsite.wordpress.com/wordpress-admin/index/phpJust to be sure, that should be:
