I can't write/access the body portion of my posts.

On my Edit Post Screen I cannot type on the body portion, the cursor literally will not go there (though everything else seems to work on the screen). On my published posts, if I try to edit them, the body portion of the post is not there, though the word count shows at the bottom and it is still exists in it’s published form.

Hi there, I’m sorry you’re encountering that problem! Please try two actions for me, to assist me in troubleshooting your issue:
First, log out of WordPress.com. Then, try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below. I see you are using Safari on your Mac, so you’ll follow those instructions specifically.
Log back into WordPress.com, view your site’s Dashboard, and let me know what happens when you try to access your Post editor.
If you are still experiencing problems, please log into WordPress.com through another browser such as Chrome or Firefox, and let me know if you have the same problem with those alternatives?

(Thanks for your timely response. I’ve been at work and unable to try your suggestion.)
I followed your directions with Safari and no change (tried it, didn’t work, logged out, tried again, still didn’t work).
I tried logging into it on Firefox and exact same problem.

Trace, Well that’s not good at all. Let’s get you back up and functioning as soon as possible. When I log into your account, everything is working fine, so to help me to understand the problem better, send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing. Snap any images you think will best illustrate the issue for me. You can simply upload the screenshot(s) to your Media Library, like any other image(s). Once you have something uploaded for me to view, let me know!

I have several questions for you:
- Could you tell me if you have the same trouble with your two other WordPress.com sites?
- Does the issue exist only in the Post editor, or in the Page editor as well?
- Can you pinpoint when the trouble began with tracemypreps.wordpress.com?
- Do you have any extensions running that might interfere with the way your WordPress.com Dashboard is functioning? If so, I’d like you to turn them off and test your ability to edit. If you’re not sure about extensions, please take a look at the following:

Ok, I uploaded a screen shot to the Media Library. Again I can see the writing in text view, but not visual view. The image I captured was when I click the visual view. As you see the visual tab is grayed out and there is no text show, even though this is a completed post (as shown by the word count at the bottom). I also uploaded a screen shot of the text screen view.
I don’t use, or access the other two WordPress.com sites.
This issue exists with both the Post editor and the Page editor.
I first noticed it when I went to write a post last Fri (6/13). I had not used the site for a couple of weeks. When I logged in on Fri I also updated it to the latest WordPress version.
I don’t believe I have any extensions running that would interfere. We checked and couldn’t find any.
