I changed my domain name but now my blog has disappeared

    Hi,

I was sprucing up my blog and I changed the domain name (for free) but straight afterwards my blog disappeared. The previous domain name was thecolumnblogpage.wordpress.com but I changed it to thecolumn14.wordpress.com. None of those work. My dashboard is still in tact and all my posts are still there but the actual website isn’t.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

On your Dashboard, at the top left corner next to the WordPress logo, what is the title of the blog? When you click the title, where does it take you to?

That’s strange. It takes me to the blog, so it’s still there, but whenever I search for it with the url or type the domain name in it says the site has been deleted by the author…

    Hi,

Can you copy and paste here the website address from your browser of the blog that is working?

    Thanks!

I am having the same problem!

I had an old blog which I wanted to rename, so I changed it from what I thought was a wordpress address to genevieveeats.wordpress.com – but then strangely, when I changed the URL, I saw “www.theglobalgourmand.com”…I forgot I’d added a proper domain name to the site. Sometimes WP shows the original free WP name.

Anyway, so I went into my Store settings and made genevieveeats.wordpress.com the primary domain — and now I get “Failed to Open Page”

So I change the primary domain back to global gourmand.com and I get the same thing!

Content is still in the dashboard but site is blank.

Can anyone please help explain what I can do to fix it?

    Thanks!
