I changed my e-mail but did not get a confirmation

  Instead of getting an e-mail confirming my e-mail change, I got an e-mail that said this:

  Hi there,

  We recently received a request to change the email address for the WordPress.com user jillasmith from [redacted] to [redacted].

  If you made this request, you can safely ignore and delete this email.

  If you did not request this change, please respond to this email immediately.

  Regards,
  All at WordPress.com

  https://wordpress.com/

  As such, it doesn’t appear that my e-mail change actually went through.

  Hi @jillasmith , can you try again to change the email on file? Usually the old email address will get that notice, while the new email address will get a confirmation link.

  Nope – tried again and only got the same e-mail to my old account, nothing to the new address.
