I changed my mind! How do I cancel my blogger import?

  I thought I could import my blog in a way that would enable me to refer to sections of posts, in the same way that I would if I were to plug in media. I didn’t realize I would be imported my entire blog into my new blog. Duh! I really need to reverse it, delete all my Blogger content from my new WordPress blog. How do I do this? Do I need to delete all content? I searched this, too, and I was directed to contact Support if I wanted to delete content while keeping my WordPress blog and theme intact. Help!

  Hi there!

  We have no way to selectively delete imported posts if you had existing content already on your WordPress.com site.

  However, what I can do is empty your blog of all content – posts (including drafts), pages, comments, categories, tags, etc. – upon your request.

  Let me know if you have any questions! Otherwise I’ll wait to hear back from you regarding emptying your blog of all content.

  Hi artbydiana,

  To confirm, you wish all of the content at thepaintedroadproject.wordpress.com to be emptied? This cannot be reversed, so I want to make sure we’re talking about the correct site before I proceed.

  Yes, that’s right. The custom theme, Photographer, will still be intact, right? If not, I’m sure I can upload it again since I only just purchased it yesterday. It’s ok if all the content is deleted because the only content that is there is what I imported from Blogger accidentally.

  Hi there,

  When we empty a blog, your premium theme will still be available, but all of your content (images, pages, comments, and posts) are deleted.

  I’ll go ahead and queue up a request to empty the blog now. It should be completed shortly. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
