i changed name of my blog and now want to delete the old address
-
When I set up my blog i created it under one name. Later, I decided to change it to different name. When I switched it over, I neglected to click the button to disable to old address. I changed the status to hidden, but people can still get to it when searching for my site on google. How do I totally disable the old blog address so that my site can only be found at the new one?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every site hosted by wordpress.COM is an independent site. What you do on one has no impact on any other site at all.
To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site.
The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled unless at least two years after deletion has passed, regardless of who registered and deleted them. Read http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
Alternatively, to change blog visibility to Private choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings
We have no control over what Google displays or when they flush their caches. It can take about 3 months for indexed material to disappear from search results. See here Remove information from Google https://support.google.com/websearch/troubleshooter/3111061?hl=en
It can take weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL.
