I changed registrars and moving here but have questions

    I have spent weeks getting this done. The new registrar – Hover – has taken place and they said they are forwarding it to you and it will take 5-7 days ( this was two days ago ). They said I should still be able to get into the dashboard of my website and I can’t. The website itselfs comes up ( and it still says it is with Blog.com) but I can’t get into it to post or change anything. Here at wordpress it does show the website and will pull it up, but the dashboard is the one that was given to me the first time I came here to switch over to you. Am I not doing something? Will it just happen that I will be able to get into my website’s dashboard after another 3-5 days? Hover told me to contact you about this things.

    The last time I contacted you and you responded through my email the emails came through blank. Id like to see if it works right yet. Could you send the response to both (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) just in case. Thank you. I would appreciate it.

    It looks like you have correctly purchased domain mapping here. However, your name servers have not been updated at your domain registrar:
    http://who.is/whois/mynameisjamie.net

    You will need to update the name servers at your registrar (Hover) before your domain will point to your WordPress.com site. This is something out of our control, so you will need to keep working with Hover.

    The name servers need to be pointing to:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    Is this what they mean about it taking a total of 5to7 days for it to be fully here? They said I should still be able to get into my dashboard and I can’t.

    why do your emails come through blank? How do I find my first question? I have to post another one to bring up the subscriptions link. What am I missing? If you don’t reply to (email visible only to moderators and staff) I won’t get it. What’s wrong with the email I have registered here that only blank emails come through?

    You can’t transfer your registration to WordPress.COM – they are not set up for incoming domain name transfers – you will need to keep your domain name not registered here

    Your domain will not point to WordPress.com until you update the records at Hover. If you’re still stuck, please contact their customer support team and tell them you need to set your name servers to the addresses I provided in my previous reply, and they should be able to help you out.

    You can receive notifications of responses to forums threads by clicking on the box under the reply box, “Notify me of follow-up posts by email” and those notifications will go to the email address you have listed for your WordPress.com account.

    If you are receiving blank emails from us, that’s another issue entirely and you may wish to forward one of those emails to us via email so we can take a further look.

    I had to send another msg to you to pull up the link to get to my subscriptions. My transfer from hover is supposed to be completed now according to an email from them. Anything else I need to say I will send directly to the wordress email address. thank you.

    It looks like the domain registrar is TUCOWS and Hover is the reseller. If Hover is unable to assist you, you may wish to go to tucowsdomains.com and seek support there.

    At any rate, the name servers still are not pointing to WordPress.com.
