  I changed theme, but it doesn’t look like it changed. still same look when I first create the account. Why there is no support for this? I want Aleve free theme and build a website by changing contents instead of using hosting website such as wordpress.org. Please help.

  Hi there, is this for your above WordPressdotcom site which is using the Alves theme?

  The Aleve theme is not available here on WordPressdotcom https://wordpress.com/themes?s=Aleve However, with a free WordPressdotcom website you can activate any of the 200+ free or Premium themes found in our theme showcase at https://wordpress.com/themes/

  If you need help setting up the Alves theme, you can find more details at https://wordpress.com/theme/alves and you can recreate the look of that theme by following the theme guide there.

  In order to upload the Aleve theme, you would need to upgrade your site to either the Business or eCommerce plan. You can learn more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#uploading-a-custom-or-third-party-theme

  this doesn’t work for me i am trying to change theme and it just is the same it never changes. It says it is the new theme but it never is. when i press test theme or customize theme it is just the original theme still

  Hi there @felixziegler what site are you working on?

  If your site is hosted here on WordPressdotcom and is using one of the Block Editor ready themes https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/block-editor-styles which has a static front page, you need to edit that page in the Page Editor, not the Customizer. Each theme has detailed instructions on how to recreate the static front page in its theme showcase page.
