i chose a theme for my site. it’s not showing it.

  Hi there,

  I can confirm that the site alfencfmp.wordpress.com is using the Cubic theme, but when you first activate a new theme the demo appearance is not loaded automatically. That is why it does not look exactly like the theme demo when you select it.

  You are setting up your site as a personal blog, yes? To display the grid layout you see in the demo here all you need to do is publish a few blog posts and make sure to set a featured image with each post: https://cubicdemo.wordpress.com/

  

  looking at your site, it seems like you are off to a good start, I see that you have two blog posts displayed as well as a custom background set:

  

  If you wish, you can add images to the two squares on your homepage now by editing each blog post, and selecting a featured image by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/
