I continue to have no Status buttons when I edit my posts
-
For some time now, I have been unable to update or revise the posts on my blog (gardenerisgone.com). When I open the Edit page for a post, the features below the post content do NOT include the Status buttons: Update/Publish/Save draft. They don’t include this feature on any post. I have submitted this question to the forum and also via Support. I’ve received prompt and professional responses, but the problem remains and is a make-or-break hindrance to my continuing my blog. I am very grateful for this free service, and I very much enjoy working with WordPress, and I would dread having to start a new blog with a new service. I have tried clearing the cache and cookies and all that, and my browsers are updated. Please let me know what else I can do.

I have done that. It does not seem logical that something like Javascript would cause one field to disappear while the rest of the fields are in order. I do not have Status fields in new posts either, meaning I cannot save or publish any new posts.

Would you be able to provide us with a screenshot of what you see when trying to Edit or Add a post?

This is a link to the entire new Post screen. I hope this works. Thank you

It looks like you have your Screen Options set to one column, is this correct?
If so, can you confirm that the Publish module doesn’t appear at the bottom of the page? It may be “closed,” so you will have to keep an eye out for the word “Publish.” (For a screenshot of what this would look like, please click here).

WOW. The 2 columns did the trick! Now I see the little box with Publish et al in it! I am such an idiot! Thank you so much for your time and patience.

The Screen Options can be a bit tricky sometimes, but I’m glad to hear you’re all set now :D
