I could not open WordPress Desktop App

  I could not open WordPress Desktop App, since I am getting ‘Sorry, the customizing tools did not load correctly’ What are the alternatives I have to fix this and use WordPress Desktop App

  Hi there!

  Have you already tried to re-install the app?

  If that didn’t help, what version of the app are you using, and what operating system?

  Yes, as you said I have tried reinstaltion few times.

  I am using Windows 7 Ultimate and
  WordPress win32 v.6.5.

  I’m going to ask our apps team if they know anything about this, but in the meantime, does it happen to make any difference if you go to https://wordpress.com/me/account and change the primary site temporarily?

  Also, can you try uninstalling but also deleting the app data, like this? (It might not be on c: if you don’t have your system set up that way, but you should be able to find the folder.)

  On Windows, use Add/Remove Programs and search for WordPress.com to remove it.  Then, delete the Application Data directory, which can be found at C:Users<username>AppDataRoamingWordPress.com (Windows 10).
  
  The application data folder can be hidden on Windows, so a neat trick to finding it is entering %appdata% in the Cortana search bar.

  Actually, scratch that — I just found out they’re working on this bug now and it will be fixed soon. You’re also welcome to try those steps to see if they help, but I think the best bet is to go ahead and use a browser for now, and watch for the app update.

  As you said
  I had reinstalled the App many times, earlier.

  Now, Searched “%appdata%”, found the folders and deleted 2 such folders.

  And Downloaded the latest version; Happy to see that You and Your team has worked and fixed the problem, so that there will be no such problem to anybody hereafter.
