  Hi there, it seems I couldn’t open my site. It says:

  This site can’t be reached

  authorrkong.wordpress.com took too long to respond.

  Try:

  • Checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and the firewall
  • Running Windows Network Diagnostics

  ERR_TIMED_OUT

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi, I had the same problem before when my WordPress.com site showed “This site can’t be reached” with the ERR_TIMED_OUT message. In my case, the issue wasn’t with WordPress itself but with my internet connection. What helped me was:

  1. Clearing my browser cache and cookies.
  2. Trying to open the site in incognito mode and also from my phone’s mobile data (to check if it was a network issue).
  3. Temporarily disabling my firewall/VPN because it was blocking WordPress.

  Once I did that, the site opened fine. You can also check WordPress.com Status to see if there are any outages, but usually it’s a local network issue.
