I crashed the editor
-
I added three lines of code to the Contact Form 7 code (checkbox.php), (trying to change the layout of the checkboxes)
span.wpcf7-list-item {
display: block;
}It didn’t work, so I deleted the code…when I saved it, it crashed the website as well as the editor – can’t even get into the Dashboard to restore the original php file…or at least remove the plug-in and re-install it.
Here is the error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘-‘, expecting ‘(‘ in /home/content/45/10946745/html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/modules/checkbox.php on line 7
I am desperate…please help as soon as possible.
Thanks.

I solved the problem by replacing the corrupted file…which I downloaded from the Contact Form 7 website.
