I create a page and it posts as a blog post

  Hello,

  The last few Pages I have posted have shown up as Posts, even though I have assigned a Parent page to it and had clicked on ADD under the Page section. It then posts it as a regular post and not under the tab/parent page. I then have to open another Page, assign the parent page and then copy/paste the post to it and publish. I then have to go back and delete what posted as a Post and no the Page. This then seems to work – the page is then showing under the parent but I don’t understand why this is doing this.

  The first time I thought I did something wrong by not actually clicking ADD under Pages but did so in Posts, but I know for sure that I did it correctly this morning, yet both pages I posted first posted as Posts and not pages under the parent page/tab.

  Please advise. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.
