I created a blog with a misspelled domain name – can I change the domain name?

  I created a website for an event using a misspelled domain name – and now I would like to change the domain name instead of build the site over again. How do I change the domain name for my already existing site…??

  A site’s URL/address can not be changed. I’m afraid you’re going to have to create a new site with the corrected name.

  However, you can export your content from your old site and then import it into the new one, so you wouldn’t have to transfer all content manually.

  For all site settings (inc. theme settings), you do have to do that manually.
