I CRINGE…to update WORDPRESS

    I cringe to update WordPress because when I do something on WP will no longer work

    Until another update then something else will stop working

    Last week I updated WP and since then the WP APP no longer works

    How does the WP Executives and Management justify paying these WP employees a paycheck?

    It shows complete lack of concern for not only the WP bloggers but also Advertisers and Stockholders

    These very same Employees have taken WP from a 1st place blog site right down to last place

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Exactly which site are you talking about? Here at WordPress.COM Staff do all software upgrades; we bloggers do nothing at all. WordPress.COM is on continual rollout so our updates are running for at least a month before they are made available to wordpress.ORG users.

    What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the wordpress.COM hosted site you refer to please?
    And, exactly which wordpress.COM username account registered that site?
    This is wordpress.COM support. I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting.
    We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

    Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

    You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.     As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
