I customized a CSS and now it doesn't work

I had a theme that had a Halloween image at the bottom. I liked the rest of the template. I tried to customize the design and it asked if I wanted to open the CSS. I said yes. It opened up in DreamWeaver. I don’t understand why it did that, but I scrolled down and found the part of the code that referred to the footer image. I deleted about ten lines of code. It asked if I wanted to save and I said yes. Now my site has no theme at all. No background. No images. No nothing. Everything is left justified and looks like a document. I tried changing the theme. I spent several hours trying to fix the mistake I’d made and couldn’t. What do I do? My page is an abomination.

You have the Koi theme. To go back to the original Koi theme, go to your theme page wher e you edit the CSS, and remove ALL the contents of the CSS box. Click “add to existing CSS” and update and that should get you back to the standard theme.

THIS is why we never suggest getting the custom upgrade if you don’t know how to use CSS. It’s not hard to learn, but you can mess yourself up easily.

I just checked your settings and it appears you still don’t have the “Add my CSS” option selected at the bottom of your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page. You can change that setting here:
