I deleted a blog, but want the name back…..

  Hi, unfortunately I deleted my previous blog melanieuematsu.wordpress.com.
  I had difficulties with the theme settings and wanted to re-start… Is there a way that wordpress will open the name melanieuematsu.wordpress.com again? In the descriptions it’s said that it’s gone forever… any idea to safe this domain name? Thanks in advance and best wishes *m

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, you will not be able to get it back at this time. It is showing as being deleted by the author. The warnings are in place to help you understand that it’s a permanent action. You may have luck getting it back after it has been two years or more since deletion and there are no conflicts. You can read further here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
