I deleted a blog from my blogroll but it’s still on my site!

I want to delete a blog from my blogroll. It’s deleted from the management page but not from my web page. Please help.

Give it some time. Sidebars are cached and changes don’t always show up right away. Also, clear your browser cache and do a forced reload of the blog to be sure you’re not just looking at a cached version.

I am having the same problem. I want to have two totally separate blogs so that they are not connected at all. One is for work and one is personal. I accidentally set up the personal one under the same log in name as the work one. I have tried to delete it but it won’t go away. The two I need deleted are feelingfaith and feelingfaith15.
Is there some way for me to have two wordpress blogs that are not connected at all?

That’s not actually the same problem. DON’T DELETE THE BLOG(S). You can set up a second username (for which you will need another email address), then make this new username administrator of one of the blogs. Then delete the first administrator while logged in as your new username.
I hope that makes sense. Basically you’re doing this:
Blog A & Blog B = User 1
get User 2
User 1 makes User 2 admin on Blog B
User 2 deletes User 1 from admin on Blog B
Blog A remains with User 1 -
If they have such similar names, though, someone will eventually connect the dots. If you really need to be closety about the connection, I’d change the name of one of the blogs or start a new one with a different username.
