I deleted a blog name, not knowing I couldn't just make a new blog.
-
I had the blog name chronicapathy.wordpress.com. I never really used it for what I was originally going to, so I decided to delete the blog so I could make a different one, with the same name, and use it for other things. I can’t seem to find a way to recover that blog name, and I’m wondering if there’s a way it can be restored to me. I don’t care about any posts or anything else that might have been on that blog, I just want to be able to use the name, since I originally had ownership of the name.

Sorry but deleted sites are gone forever, you were warned several times about that. You will need to pick a new name

They should consider adding a warning that you can’t ever recover the blog name then, because I never came across a warning for that as I was deleting it. It seems silly that the reason you can’t use a name that’s been deleted is for your protection, but you can’t even reclaim that same name.

There were several warnings, three if my memory is correct from when I deleted a test blog to check the process, there is also an email you needed to click on a link in
