  I deleted a picture, but it is still in the post, it is not on the edit page. How do I get rid of it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hmm, I’m not sure about this, but is similar to when I changed my gravatars. To hasten the process, I emptied the cache AND cookies from Options (I use Google Chrome). Hope it helps.

  WordPress, and most blogging platforms run on a database, and database deletions are not immediate. They are batched and deleted at scheduled intervals typically, and this may be once an hour, or once every 2 or 3 hours.

  Also, try logging out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again to view the image. It may be that your browser is pulling the image from its cache. This is particularly prevalent with Windows and Internet Explorer.
