I deleted a site, and I can't reuse the URL

    Hi,

    I am absolute new on wordpress, using the free plan and wordpress hosting.

    I created a site to test and learn (my-url.wordpress.com), thinking I could keep that URL if I delete the site later. I found is not the case. After deleting the site, wordpress doesn’t let me select that URL again when creating a new site.

    I really want to keep that URL, and I am 100% sure nobody is using it, as I was its last owner and still when you try access to that URL. Is there anyway to recover that URL?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, you are not able to recover a deleted site. There are several warnings provided during the process of deleting.

    “Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts.”
