I deleted a site, but I thought the name would be available again?

  Hi all.

  I had a site: abrahamleay.wordpress.com, but I deleted it cause I wasn’t using it at the moment.

  Turns out that I want to use that name again, but it’s no longer available cause I deleted it? I would like to recover that name (I don’t care about its old content, I’ll build another site from scratch).

  I wonder if that’s possible. Thanks!

  Unfortunately a deleted blogaddress.wordpress.com url is not recoverable as outlined in the support document here. If the deleted site belonged to you and it has been more than two years since it’s deletion, the address might be available to register once again if the address has been recycled.

  If the name you would like to use is no longer available, your only option would be to buy a domain name like abrahamleay.com.
