I deleted a website, and want to use the previous domain, but I can’t.

  I had a website, that I deleted. I want to recreate the website using the domain I used (it was a wordpress.com subdomain) but I can’t.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello –

  Yes, that’s right. Once a .wordpress.com site is deleted it can only be restored by the original owner up to 30 days afterwards. At that point it is not able to be restored. I will be happy to check the status of the old domain if you wish to share it here.

  Otherwise, start with a new one by clicking on My Sites – Domains – Add.

  Please check the status of elaborest.wordpress.com, the site that I deleted some time ago. I want to create a new site with that domain.

  Thanks — I’ve been able to restore elaborest.wordpress.com back to your account as it was deleted just under 30 days ago, so you contacted us at a good time. Any later and we wouldn’t have been able to reverse the deletion.

  You should now see elaborest.wordpress.com listed under My Sites at the top left in your account.
