I Deleted Blog – so that I can create same URL with different ID – URL not avail

  I had created a a blog “http://optionclubindia.wordpress.com”. I had deleted it, so that I can re-create the same blog WITH SAME URL, using different user account (at wordpress.com itself).

  But, now, this URL is not available.

  NEEDED HELP. CAN THIS URL BE RESTORED TO ME ??

  DO I HAVE TO UPGRADE TO A PREMIUM ACCOUNT ??

  I REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED THIS URL.

  (I hadn’t posted much in above blog. Just 1 or 2 “welcome message” post)

  optionclubindia.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Once a URL is deleted it is gone forever – you agreed to that several times during the delete process.

  Deleted URL’s are not recycled. You can pick a name that is close or buy a custom domain name and map it to a blog here.

  A note for the next time, blogs can be easily transferred to another account, takes a few minutes.

  Is there any hope that I can get my url back, will the wordpress.com staff look at my issue kindly, — IF — I subscribe/upgrade to a Premium account ?

  I am sure many people across the world would have done same mistake, and does wordpress.com address this issue ?

  No account upgrade will change anything I said above. The WordPress.COM staff address this issue every day with the same answer I posted above –

  We see the “I deleted the blog can I have it back” several times a day in the help forum – same answer every time

  btw, just a small clarification.

  Is it possible to make a request for a URL that I deleted from my own wordpress.com account ??

  I know the blog can’t be restored. But, at least the the URL can be restored. My blog was, more or less, empty. (Am I asking same question again ?? :) )

  I am not able to use the user id “optionclubindia”. The id. I have created is “optionclubindia1”.

  The user id (gravatar id / author id. / etc.) everything has changed. If it was only a question of webaddress, then, I wouldn’t be persistent. But, when my gravatar id. is also not showing the name I want to show, then, it is a bit frustrating.

  so, is there any chance of atleast claiming the user id of “optionclubindia” for my gravatar ?
