I deleted my account and would like to perhaps switch it; or recover what was on it. Wasn’t exactly an accident but I sort of figure WordPress is the place for me; really liked it and its features and updates.

    Maybe I could transfer somehow the writing from my old deleted blog, if you guys could Recover it, and get my writings back?

    Hello there!

    I am afraid to say that you won’t be able to use the old site address as it will not be available for use again. For more info please read the support doc here: https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

    Once you change the “example” part of example.wordpress.com, the old address will stop working. Visitors will not be redirected to your new site address. The old address will not be available for use again.

    But deleted sites can be restored for up to 30 days, I have tagged this thread for staff assistance, they would get back to you asap.
