I deleted my account, please help!
-
Hi :) I run a blog page for an organisation I volunteer for, this blog page is for the whole county, therefore quite active, and quite important. I did not set up this blog, I inherited it when I took my current role. I also had a personal blog that I ran, which I tried to delete, HOWEVER! I deleted the important one!! I am going to be in trouble 😑 I tried to reactivate it but needed either the initial confirmation email, or a two factor authentication code, neither of which I have due to not being the person who originally set up the blog. I don’t know who the initial author is so cannot contact them to help me. Is there ANYTHING I can do, bar starting afresh?! Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

EDIT** The blog I need help with is not bujo for beginners, that is my new blog which is not fully up and running yet

We are unable to assist unless or until you provide the site URL starting with http:// so we can verify hosting. Are you referring to a site hosted by WordPress.COM or not? Please post the URL here.

My apologies, this is for a WordPress.org site, I did not realise I was on the wrong forum, Thank you for pointing this out to me!

I am so confused! I am normally quite technologically able, I promise! This is for a WordPress.com site, not a WordPress.org site.
The blog I am referring to is…http://girlguideswestyorkshiresouth.wordpress.com
Thank you in advance for any help!

I’m not hijacking, I promise, it’s still me. Please don’t block me from the forum or anything, I am desperate for help! I promise you I’m genuine.
Please let me explain what’s happening…I have had 4 wordpress.com sites, the one I run for the organisation I volunteer for, and 3 personal ones, the first personal one which I tried to delete but deleted my volunteer one instead (which I’m trying to rectify), and 2 for the same purpose, I created the first one with an email address which I had to delete due to privacy concerns (nothing regarding WordPress). I had to delete the first one due to the same reason so I created the second one, same blog purpose, just different url and email address.
I have deleted my first personal one as it was no longer relevant and did not want to be taking up url’s that others’ could use. This left me with my second personal one which I had to delete due to my own personal reasons, I then set up a third personal one with the same intentions and ideas as the one I had to delete due to personal reasons.
However, I originally posted this thread on my other account, which I then deleted, so carried on the thread with the second account, which is why it looked like I was hijacking someone else’s thread.
I just really want to know how/if I can reactivate the one I volunteerd to run for the organisation I volunteer for, even though I don’t know who originally set it up.
I really am sorry for the confusion, if this is too confusing to help me with, is there a support email address I can contact instead? I realise I am being a pain!
Thank you for your patience

Let’s assume that you have both accounts in this thread.
girlguideswestyorkshiresouth.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.If the site was deleted less than 30 days ago staff can recover it. I have added the modlook tag. What was the account/username you were logged into when you deleted the site in error?

@bulletjournallingforbeginners
I did not realize you were the same person.

Thanks for the assist here. -
@themagocrobot I’m glad you understood what I was trying to explain, I understand that I was being confusing! The account I was logged in to when I accidently deleted the wrong blog was http://girlguidingwys.wordpress.com but that is no longer an activated blog. I think this just serves me right for having to start so many new blogs! The trouble is, I have no idea of knowing who set up the accidentally deleted blog as I inherited it, so to speak!
@timetheif I’m sorry for the confusion! -

@bulletjournallingforbeginners, I’ve consulted with some of my colleagues and given you were not the creator of the site and that account, we are a bit limited on what we can do. What I’m going to do is to send an email to the email address that was on that account and ask them to contact us and verify that we can undelete the account and site. Hopefully they are still monitoring that email address and will get back to us.

@thesacredpath Thank you so much for looking into it, I’m hoping and praying that the original author still accesses that email address!

Sure, we will let you know if the site owner replies to the email @thesacredpath has sent.
