I deleted my Home page,

  I now have a very blank page that says”sorry no posts to match criteria” on my home page. I deleted this page thinking it was something else. There isn’t an “Edit this page” link anymore either. How do I get this page back, if at all possible? It still shows op on my site, but I can’t do anything with it.

  Just create and publish a post, even if you call it test post with one word as the text. Once it’s published, you’ll have your home page back.

  Thank you. I got a post to show. Is the home page only for showing posts? This seems to be the only thing showing up. The page its self still doesn’t have an edit this page link. Am I missing something obvious here?

  While we call the front page that, it’s dynamic, your blog. It’s not accessed under Manage>Pages the way static pages are.

  Your post is editable. You should see Edit This right after Uncategorized.

  Ok, I am not a complete idiot, parts of me are missing. I figured it out by looking at another blog.
