I deleted my homepage, but it is still visible! Cannot access confirmation link.

  Help! I tried to delete this blog address and all its content (LISEMARIELIFE.WORDPRESS.COM) but it is still visible… I am not able to access the link I was sent on email, and I guess this is why I am still able to see it.

  Could I please get some help deleting this page, as soon as possible??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account that registered the blog in question you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  After you do that if you cannot locate a verification email, look in your email client spam/junk mail filter for the email with the blog deletion verification link in it and click that link. If clicking it does not work then copy and paste the link into your upper browser bar and click.

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled. If you delete a blog URL it can not be used by you or by anyone else again. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  Thank you, but that is the problem… I get this message when I press the link: “User lisemarielia Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested”. BUT, this is my only user, I just changes my user name to this from “lisemarielife” a couple of days ago and now it won’t delete my old blog…

  Is there a way I can get any help from staff to fix this problem?? I really want to get rid of it as soon as possible…

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove any indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. We have no control over that and you cannot use the URL removal tool in cases like this one. http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1269119
