I deleted my name domaine. When does it come back to the public ?

    Hello

    I deleted my domain name “…..fr” the 24th november 2023, which was hosted by WordPress.

    I would like to use it in another website than wordpress but it they that “….fr” is still not available in the public market. I don’t understand because I deleted it since more than 30 days.

    I don’t understand, can you help me please ?

    If you registered the domain with WordPress.com on the 15th November and deleted it after the refund window was passed then no doubt it won’t become free for a year.

    What you should have done is keep the domain and point it towards a site at some other host if you still wanted to use the domain and build a site using some other (no doubt more complicated) format.

    This thread is tagged to ask if a member of staff could be kind enough to check your account.

    I noticed later that I should keep the domain and just transfer it to a new host…
