I deleted my own blog on accident, and I would like to have it back
-
To WordPress.com,
I made a WordPress blog under elfreyshira.wordpress.com, just to check it out. I was thinking of switching from Tumblr to WordPress. However, I temporarily wanted to deactivate my WordPress until I was fully ready to move over. I deleted the blog, and I guess in the haze of things, I didn’t realize it was permanent.
I understand and respect your rules about recycling blog names (http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names). However, since “elfreyshira” is my full name, and I’m the one who deleted it, could I possibly have it back?
If proof is needed that I am the true elfreyshira, I will gladly provide it!
Thank you for your time!

No you cannot. It takes ignoring several warnings that state deletion of a blog URL is permanent and cannot be reversed, and then clicking a verification link in an email to delete a blog. It does not matter whether or not you registered that URL. The deleted URL is forever gone and deleted blog URLs are not recycled here, regardless of which username account registered and deleted them. You can confirm by reading:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
