I deleted my site name but would really like to use it again

Yesterday I changed my original site name to a new one. However, I would really like it back. Is it possible to undo this change, or even to have both names available? It was ‘mimwritesright.wordpress.com”.

When you changed your site name, it was very clearly stated the changes could not be undone and the original site name would be locked forever. You even had to confirm you understood the consequences. In short: there is no way back.

Note to anyone else reading this thread who may be thinking of changing the name of their free site. Don’t do it if you may regret the change in future. Just set it to private for a while and create an additional free site with a new name.

yes I did read that. Stupid mistake on my end. I only asked because I searched the message threads here, and previously someone who did the same thing was told that they could get it back. Figured it was worth a shot.
