I deleted my wordpress site

Hi there,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble!
There is no simple and quick way to remove a site from Google indexing. The process can sometimes take a few weeks for your site to be re-indexed.
This is something that is controlled by Google, not WordPress.
You can, however, try using this form to notify Google of outdated content: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals?pli=1
That should help speed up the process!

Hi andreaskafkalias,
Search engines can take 4-6 weeks to refresh their database.
You can use this tool to help speed it up: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removalsYou can also find out more about Search engines and WordPress here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
Hope this helps

Hello @andreaskafkalias!
Updates in search engines don’t happen instantly and it might take a couple of days till you will see it not showing anymore.
However, just to double-check, can you please let us know what is the link of the site you are talking about? The one you deleted?

Hi andreaskafkalias,
Are you leaving WordPress.com? Would you like to redirect your site (as well as all of your permalinks) to your new domain name?
If you intentionally deleted your website, and you don’t want it shown in Google search, there is an option to redirect traffic from your deleted website. This way you will either point your users to your new domain address or give them clear information what is going on with the old website.
Please check in the following link, and if there is any further help you might need, please let me know.
