I deleted the about tab next to home tab

  Hello,
  I am completely new to word press and deleted the about tab by mistake when setting up my blog. I cannot seem to get it back to next to the home tab in the horizontal bar. I have tried adding a menu page but it is not going in the right place. I am using the forever theme. Can anyone help?

  You can restore the About page that you deleted from your Trash.

  Delete a Page or Post

  You can create a custom menu and add only the items you want in it to it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ The “menu” is the entire bar including all items in it.   Hi thanks for the quick response unfortunately this is still not working i found the deleted page but it is in a sub menu now and not in the original menu bar where it originally was. I have tried customizing the menu and adding things to it but they are not apprearing where i want them to. Is there any way i can just restore the setting to the original ones as they were when i first set it up?

  There is no “restore” setting.
  Go to > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menus
