i deleted the domain

  i deleted the domain to free it so i can use another Service provider. At a loss. But now its says its mapped to WordPress. Whats happening ?

  It looks like the domain was registered with WordPress.com and is now mapped to your WordPress.com account. If you want to use a different service provider, you will need to unmap the domain from WordPress.com and register it with the other provider.

  Thanks for confirming. A cancelled domain may not always be immediately available for resale due to a redemption grace period, which allows the original owner to reclaim the domain within a specified time frame. Additionally, certain domain registrars may hold onto the domain for an extra period or place it in an auction, further delaying its availability for general resale.

  In practice this means that a cancelled domain is not usually available to resale for 60-90 days from the date of cancellation.

  In the case of pawzible.pet, because it is still within the grace period for us to recover it (without a late fee) I have added the domain back into your account to avoid any other recovery fees. You can confirm it is listed here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

  If you wish you can transfer the domain to a new provider, or you can ask us to connect via settings. If you can tell us who your new provider is (and what domain settings they recommend to connect to your account) we are happy to do that on our end as well as look into your domain transfer options.
