I deleted the “home” page!
-
I inadvertently deleted the “home” page, so that when I use my URL, I get a page that says “Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here”. My menu displays there, so I can get to all my other pages, though. Can I add a home page back? If so, what do I need to call it? I tried “Index” and “Home”, but that didn’t work.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

Some blogs have “home” page tabs or “blog” page tabs and some don’t. Unless you change it to another static page you create the front page of your blog will always display when the blog URL is clicked, and when the blog title itself is clicked form any location within your blog your visitors will be returned to the front page. See here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/05/06/the-home-tab/ and here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/26/page-tabs-as-external-links/
