I did not authorize a renewal and want a refund

  Hi,

  i did not authorize a renewal for anamgulraiz.com, i had gone into wordpress and had said NO to autorenewal in the previous months, but it still renewed the blog. i do not use this blog, would like to release the domain name, and i do not want to renew it.

  i thought i had removed my credit card on file as well so i dont know why this transaction went through

  and i am having the same issue. Can someone please help me out?

  Hi Anam,

  I checked the domain anamgulraiz.com — it wasn’t renewed, and you weren’t charged for a renewal. (There aren’t any charges on your account anamgulraiz except the original charge when you purchased that domain in September 2014.) That domain expired on September 2, 2015.

  You can see all transactions on your account in your Billing History.

  However, I see that you forwarded us a renewal email that you received from GoDaddy. Charges and subscriptions from GoDaddy aren’t related to WordPress.com, and you’ll need to contact GoDaddy support directly for help with that charge.

  Please could a wordpress staff member email me asap. I have been charged via my VISA with NO explanation and I do not recall authorising the payment. Please email me via (email visible only to moderators and staff) ASAP. Sorry Anam if I am interfering with your post -Just wordpress have not given any other way of my contacting them or any email address etc.

  Hey just letting u know my problem was through godaddy and it has been resolved. Call ur bank and let them put a hold on that payment
