    Why was I charged without my knowing it and in advance of my due date?

    Hi there,

    When you purchased your plan you agreed to our renewal policy which says that all upgrades renew annually, and also that upgrades are renewed one month before expiration.

    We sent you an email on 7 May to warn that the renewal date was approaching, and we emailed you a receipt on 6 June when the payment went through. If you did not receive those emails they might be in your Spam folder.

    If you did not wish the renewal to proceed, you could have cancelled automatic renewal at any time from your Purchases page, or you could have contacted us via live chat support included in your Premium Plan to disable automatic renewal, or to cancel the renewal after it processed, for a full refund.

    Instead, I see you have disputed this charge with your bank. When you dispute a charge you are essentially accusing us of fraud, and the payment is frozen pending an investigation. Additionally, your site is locked pending payment of a chargeback fee. You can read our full policy here:

    If you are willing to cancel the dispute with your bank we might still be able to refund you ourselves. Otherwise you will need to wait for our payment processor to complete their investigation, which could take eight to twelve weeks, and in that case you will also only receive the refund should they decide in your favor.

    Please let me know if you’ve cancelled the dispute, then I can try to refund you from our end.

    I didn’t read the warning and I can’t pay the 99 dollars. I will pay the 20 fee if I have to, but I need access to my page. I have already cancelled the dispute. I need a refund of the 99 dollars..

    Hi @jacquelinecaseypoetry, I’ve checked and your site is unlocked now and I see that a refund of $99 was made on June 6. It may take a few days for that to show up on your statement.
