I did not want a free site – I wanted a business site
-
When I want to go to wordpress.com (as I did all last week) I’m directed to a free site I did not want. I wanted to transfer hosts using the plugin and get 7 days free trial. Now I can’t complain or use Live chat because I have a free site I never wanted and if I delete it I can use the same name again? Also the WP automated email verification does not work. It did not work last week until someone resent manually. Now I can’t request that as I have a free (unwanted site) and therefore no access support. This is nuts.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When in the dashboard of your free site there should be an “upgrade” button on the left.

Hi there!
I see that you have the WordPress.com Business plan on your cart. Please click here to go to checkout, and you can upgrade your site to the WordPress.com Business plan.
I also activated your account, so you don’t need to verify your email address for your account anymore. If you register a domain, you may need to verify your email address again, but that’s for the domain registration, which is separate from the email verification for your WordPress.com account.
After upgrading to the WordPress.com Business plan, you can follow the steps below to use our Move to WordPress.com plugin:
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. Prerequisites The Move to WordPress.com plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. All incompatible plugins deactivated on the self-hosted site. ✅ There is no need to create a site on WordPress.com before you get starFeel free to let us know if you have more questions.
